Outside you'll find lots of room to run and play. Kids love the Ninja Slackline and outdoor toys and games. Or enjoy a quiet stroll through our woods on a curated nature trail and end the evening with the family gathered around the campfire for s'mores and stargazing.

Things to do

1. Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad - 2 hour round trip ride on one of the oldest trains and railroads in the country.
2. Weirs Beach - a family-friendly beach on the lake in Laconia, with easy parking, clean bathrooms, and a boardwalk full of shops and restaurants. Just a two miles down the main road from the house!
   
3. Endicott Rock Historic Site - a state park located on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee in Weirs Beach. Its principal attraction is a large rock originally in the lake that was incised with lettering in 1652 by surveyors for the Massachusetts Bay Colony. The rock provides definitive evidence of one of the earliest incursions of Europeans into the area.
   
4. Ahern State Park - a 128-acre state protected area in Laconia on Winnisquam Lake in New Hampshire's Lakes Region. It is open year-round and offers hiking, non-motorized boating, biking, and fishing.
   
5. Lake Waukewan Town Beach - a small public swimming area roped off in the lake  as well as a public boat launch, and free parking along the side of the road. There are clean, public restrooms across the street from the lake.  Loons are a frequent sighting in the summer, along with beautiful sunsets right behind the lake. It is smaller and quieter than Weirs Beach. Located in Meredith.
   
6. Abenaki Tower - Abenaki Tower is well worth the five minute walk on a wide dirt path it takes to get to it. This public lookout tower, which used to be a firetower, is one of New Hampshire's more unique towers. Unlike most, it is completely wooden and has a peaked roof. From the top, there are decent views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Belknap Range. Free parking, free to climb the tower. Located in Tuftonboro.

1. Funspot - Funspot Family Entertainment Center is an arcade which features one of the largest collections of late-1970s to mid-1980s games in the world. It is located in the village of Weirs Beach.
   
2. American Classic Arcade Museum - a museum and arcade that has been established to promote and preserve the history of coin-operated arcade games. Play hundreds of coin-operated arcade games, learn video game history, and more at Weirs Beach.
   
3. Barn Z’s Movie Theater - Easy parking, great films shown all year long, as well as Luxury Recliner seating with foot rests.
   
4. Mills Falls Spa - Take time out from exploring the rugged natural charms of New Hampshire to awaken your senses in our world-class Cascade Spa, a full-service day spa and salon for both women and men along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith.
   
5. 1. Town Docks Restaurant (Summer only) - Right on the lake, this little beach getaway is a refreshing experience to have lunch. It is welcoming and the food is delicious. Provides both outdoor and indoor seating, and also has an ice cream shoppe located there.
2. Surfside Burger Bar - Locally sourced meat tastes better and Surfside knows it.  Great food and a fun atmosphere with live music. Specialty burgers, tacos, homemade ice cream, craft beer & specialty cocktails proudly served.
3. Lago - Italian spot featuring country murals plus lake views from a locale at the Bay Point Inn. A bit pricier than other restaurants. 
4. Giuseppe's Pizzeria & Ristorante - Italian cuisine & nightly live music in rustic quarters at the historic Mill Falls Marketplace.
5. 48 Main Cafe & Creperie - A family owned Cafe in Meredith offering dine in and take out. We offer locally roasted coffee, espresso & specialty drinks, and local loose leaf teas. Our specialty is made to order one of a kind sweet & savory crepes. We also have breakfast sandwiches, lunch bowls, salads, smoothies and acai smoothie bowls.
6. Lakeside Deli & Grille - Counter-service restaurant offering deli sandwiches, soups & fish tacos, plus lake views.
7. The Crazy Gringo - Mexican eatery in Laconia, on the Weir’s Beach main street. The nachos are out of this world and can be customized. The beer is cold the drinks are delicious.
8. Lakehouse Grill - Upscale, established lodge serving classic American dishes in a rustic space with scenic lake views.
9. Waterfall Cafe - Hearty American breakfasts & lunches in quaint quarters with lake views at the Inn at Mill Falls.
10. Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant - Thanksgiving year-round & more American eats in sprawling digs with a rustic tavern & a gift shop.
